Box Score (QUINCY, Ill., Oct. 18)- The McKendree University women's soccer team had its five-game unbeaten streak snapped on Friday in a 2-0 loss at No. 11 Quincy University.

The Bearcats fall to 5-4-5 overall and 3-3-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with the loss, and will travel to No. 20 Truman State University on Sunday, October 20 in Kirksville, Mo., for a GLVC game at noon.

The hosts got on the scoreboard in the 18tth minute on a goal by Haylye Markway to take a 1-0 lead. McKendree was unable to get any offensive pressure in the first half and was held without a shot in the opening half.

Quincy went on to take a 2-0 lead in the 73rd minute on a goal by Jaclyn Mastroinni. The Bearcats took eight shots in thecohalf and placed two on frame, but were unable to find the back of the net to even up the game.

Senior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) fell to 3-3-3 overll on the season and had four saves in the loss.
