MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
The Bearcats competed in their first meet of the semester on January 16 and are ready for their last tune up meets before the GLVC championships on February 8. In the last meet the Bearcats placed third and received its first dives of the season from freshman diver
Thad Zuber (Lubbock, TX/Lubbock High School). Several McKendree swimmers earned first place finishes in the meet as well including freshmen swimmers
Luca Simonetti (Sassari, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Gulielmo Marconi Sassari) and
Matija Pucarevic (Belgrade, Serbia/Sixth Belgrade Grammar School), as well as sophomore swimmer
Daniel Buijs (Amersfoot, Netherlands).
The men's team currently holds 11 spots on the Top 50 in the NCAA Division II:

WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
The women's team also dove back into action on Monday, January 16, earning three first place finishes, one second-place finish, and one third-place finish. Freshman swimmer
Sydney Rey (Columbia, IL/Columbia High School) earned two first-place finishes and one third-place finish in the meet. Freshman swimmer
Milica Sostarec (Alexandria, VA/Medical High School) earned a first and a second place finish in the meet. The women's team is still searching for their first win of the season with a great opportunity to earn it this weekend.
