(MIDLAND, Mich., Sept. 25) – The McKendree University women's tennis team competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regionals hosted by Northwoods University on Saturday and Sunday.
 
McKendree sent two players to the tournament, freshman Vivian Amaro () and senior Tori Lindsay (Shiloh, Ill./O'Fallon Township). Amaro dropped her first match to Abbie Riley of Tiffin University by scores of 7-5 and 6-1. She was able to rebound and win her first match of the consolation bracket by a score of 9-8 (5) against Clara Drash of Walsh University. Amaro was then defeated in the next round by Annie Hays of the University of Missouri-St. Louis by a score of 8-2. Lindsay was defeated by Bella Bergman of UIndy in the first round of singles by scores of 6-0, 6-1. Lindsay also fell to Adeline Nelson of Davenport University by scores of 6-3, 6-0. In doubles play the duo of Lindsay and Amaro fell to Blueler and Lunge of the University of Missouri-St. Louis by a score of 8-0.
 
The Bearcats are back in action against Lewis and Clark Community College on October 1 at the McKendree Tennis Courts.
