Women’s Tennis Tries Their Hand at the ITA Midwest Regional

Baiardi went 4-0 last time out at the Bearcat Hidden Duels

LEBANON, Ill – The women's tennis team will take a trek to western Michigan, in the city of Allendale, to compete at Grand Valley State University for the ITA Midwest Regional. First serve will be at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 10th, and will continue until Monday, October 12th.

The Bearcats will compete in a bracket style tournament using double elimination. The first two rounds will be conducted on Saturday, while the round of 16 and Quarterfinals will be on Sunday, and the Semifinals and Finals will be held on Monday.

Following the conclusion of the ITA Midwest Regional will be the ITA Singles & Doubles Championships in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the Tuscaloosa Tennis Center, should any Bearcats clinch regional titles. If none clinch, that will be the conclusion of McKendree women's tennis' fall season. The Bearcats will be back at it on January 23rd,with an exhibition against Missouri Baptist University in St. Peters, Missouri at 6:45 PM.
