(LEBANON, Ill., Aug. 30)
– The McKendree University women's volleyball team is headed to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Bahama House Labor Day Classic Tournament this weekend.

On Friday the Bearcats will face Bentley University at 1 p.m. ET followed by Florida Tech at 5 p.m. ET. On Saturday McKendree will take on Eckerd College at 11 a.m. then wrap up tournament play against Flagler College at 5 p.m. ET.

Last weekend, the Bearcats went 2-2 to start the season off at the Capital Classic Tournament in Springfield, Ill. McKendree fell to Northern Michigan University and Missouri Western State University in the first day off play then swept opponents Walsh University and Cedarville University to wrap up day two. Freshman middle blocker Hope Gramly (Prosper, TX/Prosper) was voted to be a member of the Capital Classic All-Tournament team.

McKendree's first home match will be next Friday at 7 p.m. versus Lindenwood University and their first Great Lakes Valley Conference match up will be against University of Illinois Springfield in Springfield, Ill. the next day at 3 p.m.

Bentley University enters the tournament 0-2 from the Northeast-10 Conference, both Florida Tech, 1-3, and Eckerd College, 2-2, will represent the Sunshine State Conference, and Flagler College, from the Peach Belt Conference, is 1-3.
