(SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 8) – The McKendree University swimming and diving program competed at the Drury Invitational on the campus of Drury University on Friday. The two day meet will be conclude on Saturday.
The meet began with the women's one meter and men's three meter diving events. Junior
Caitlyn Canadi (South Lyon, MI/South Lyon High School) placed fourth with 309.30 points. Sophomore
Ethan Larson (Anchorage, AK/Paideia High School) finished second with 449.15 points and sophomore
Xavier Flores (Fresno, CA/Clovis West High School) placed fourth with 301.00 points.
In the 200 freestyle relay, the women placed fifth while the men took second. The women's team of sophomore

Sydney Rey (Columbia, IL/Columbia High School), sophomore
Abigail Rumpp (Knoxville, TN/L&N STEM Academy), and junior
Meredith Geyer (Germantown, TN/Germantown High School) turned in a time of 1:39.89. The men's team of senior
Matija Pucarevic (Belgrade, Serbia/Sixth Belgrade Grammar School), sophomore
Gregg Lichinsky (West Des Moines, IA/West Des Moines Valley High School), freshman
Caleb Law (Anchorage, AK/Robert Service High School), and junior
Alexander Skinner (Namibia, Africa/Windhoek Afrikaans Private School) finished with a 1:22.51.
Capturing the only win of the day was freshman
Fabio Dalu (Cagliari, Italy/Liceo L.B. Alberti Cagliari) in the 500 freestyle. Dalu touched the wall in 4:35.09 for first place.
In the 50 freestyle, Skinner, Lichinsky, and Pucarevic placed third, fourth, and fifth. Skinner finished with a 20.74, Lichinsky turned in a 20.96, and Pucarevic touched in 21.01.
For the 400 medley relay, the women placed fourth and the men placed second. The women's team of S. Rey, freshman
Grace Credit (La Grange Highlands, IL/Lyons Township High School), junior
Victoria Sananikone (Cedar Park, TX/Cedar Park High School), and Geyer turned in a time of 4:00.90. The men's team of freshman

John Heaphy (Eagle River, AK/Eagle River High School), Pucarevic, and Lichinsky finished with a 3:23.31.
