(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 9) – The McKendree University women's soccer program is set to host the first round of the 2019 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship Tournament this upcoming weekend on Sunday, November 10 after winning the GLVC Regular Season Championship. The women's team will take on eighth-seeded Lewis University at 12:00 p.m.
 
The women's program enters post-season play after clinching the 2019 GLVC Regular Season Championship on a 2-0 weekend where they defeated Missouri S&T 2-0 and Maryville University 2-1. The Bearcats are currently 13-3-2 overall and 11-2-2 in GLVC play. Lewis University enters the postseason as the eighth-seed at 8-7-3 overall and 6-6-3 in GLVC play after most recently defeating Southwest Baptist 1-0 this past Sunday. When these two teams met in the regular season, McKendree defeated the Flyers on Leemon field by a score of 1-0.
