The McKendree University women's volleyball team will head to Indiana this weekend to close out its final regular-season road games. The Bearcats will take the court at 7:00 PM in Screaming Eagles Arena on Friday, Mar. 26. Then, first serve is scheduled for 2:00 PM (CT) in Ruth Lily Fitness Center on Saturday, Mar. 27.

Nickie Sanlin's team is looking to bounce back from a two-game loss at their last Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tri-match on Mar. 13. The Bearcats are heading into this weekend 5-7 (5-7 in GLVC), averaging with 12.0 kills per set with a .148 hitting percentage, 1,8 blocks per set, and 1,8 service aces per set. This weekend will be the second meeting McKendree will have with both No.13 University of Southern Indiana and University of Indianapolis this season.

About No.13 University of Southern Indiana
Southern Indiana is 10-4 (10-4 in GLVC) coming off back-to-back losses at their GLVC tri-match on Saturday, their first back-to-back losses of the season. The Screaming Eagles were narrowly defeated by Quincy 3-0, followed by another narrow 3-0 sweep from Drury. UIndy is 6-8 (6-8 in GLVC), after a split series in their final GLVC tri-match on Saturday. The Greyhounds could not stop the aggressive pin hitters from Lindenwood, and were defeated in three sets. The Greyhounds flipped the script in their second match that day, defeating Southwest Baptist 3-0. In the previous meeting between the Bearcats and Greyhounds on Feb. 12, the Bearcats lost their first home game of the season 3-1. For more information about the Greyhounds, click here.
