Saturday's Men's Basketball Game at Lewis Has Been Canceled

LEBANON, Ill. – Lewis University has announced that its Great Lakes Valley Conference men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15 with at Neil Carey Arena in Romeoville, Ill., has been canceled due to health and safety protocols within the Flyers men's basketball program.
 
The game will be considered a no-contest by the NCAA. According to GLVC policy, the game will not be made up at this present time and will be considered a "no contest" for league standing purposes per the GLVC Resocialization of Competition document.

With the cancellation of Saturday's game at Lewis, the Bearcats, who also had its home game on Thursday with Indianapolis canceled due to COVID-19 protocols in UIndy's program, are scheduled to return to action on Monday, Jan. 17 as they travel to Evansville, Ind., for a 7:30 p.m. game at the University of Southern Indiana. USI won the first meeting between the two teams as the Screaming Eagles defeated the Bearcats, 68-55, in Lebanon to open the New Year.
