Women's Soccer Earns Six Academic All-District Team Members

GREENWOOD, Ind. - College Sports Comminicators, fomerly CoSIDA, released its 2022 Academic All-District lists for soccer with McKendree University women's soccer grabbing six selections on the list. Senior defender Morgan Bova, senior midifelder Allison Frederking, senior midfielder Elizabeth Goldstein, junior forward Destiny Johnson, junior midfielder Reagan Mauch, and senior goalkeeper Abby Tucker all earning all-district honors. The six individuals will be sent onto the Academic All-American voting, seeking selections to the national team. 

With the honors, it marked a third postseason honor for Bova and Frederking, a second for Goldstein, Mauch, and Tucker, while it was the first for Johnson. Bova and Frederking earned All-GLVC and D2CCA All-Region honors period while Goldstein, Mauch, and Tucker were all selected to All-GLVC teams earlier this month.

About the Academic All-American Program - Homepage
College Sports Communicators (CSC) began the distinguished Academic All-America® program in 1952, and since then, has honored more than 38,000 deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions with these elite Academic All-America® scholar-athlete honors. All selections own a cumulative GPA of 3.50 in their collegiate studies. 

The 2022 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
