Lafayette, Ind. - McKendree University women's swimming and diving concluded competition at the Purdue Invitational on Saturday evening. The Bearcats scored a total of 152 points in the three-day event.
Among the finishes for the day was an 11th place finish by sophomore Ana Cecilia Carvalho in the 1650 freestyle as well as a fourth-place swim in the B Final of the 100 freestyle from senior Alexis Kachkin. In the C final of the 100 freestyle, sophomore Jocelyn Zgola and junior Karley Sonnenberg took fourth and fifth respectively.
Coming up, the Bearcats host their next tri-meet on Jan. 12 against Lindenwood and Rockhurst.
