INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, December 4th. For the first time in his career, junior forward Milos Vicentic was named GLVC Player of the Week.
The Belgrade, Serbia native averaged 25 points in the two Bearcat wins over Rockhurst and William Jewell. Against the Hawks, he posted 30 points on 12 of 18 shooting. Vicentic also pulled down eight rebounds, and dished out four assists. In the Saturday contest against the Cardinals, he went 9 of 16 from the floor for 20 points. The 6 foot 8 forward pulled down six rebounds as well.
He currently ranks fourth in Division at 24.8 points per game, as well as 2nd in the GLVC. Vicentic sits in 12th for field goals made and that leads the conference with 64.
The Bearcats hit the road for the first time in GLVC play as they travel to Illinois-Springfield and Quincy this weekend.
