SMYRNA, Tenn. - McKendree University men's bowling placed sixth out of 20 teams at the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional in Smyrna, Tenn. Two Bearcats finished in the top ten of the individual competition.
In the 64 team games, McKendree amassed a total pinfall of 12,852, recording 269 in their highest game score. In the final standings, Wisconsin-Whitewater snagged the title while St. Ambrose and the University of Tennessee Southern finished second and third, respectively. The top four teams in the field advanced to the USBC ITC competition on April 20-22.
In the singles portion of the two-day event, two Bearcats finished in the top 10. Junior Connor Brink took seventh place while senior Jorge Rodriguez sealed the 10th place spot.
With the sixth place finish, McKendree men's bowling concludes its 2022-23 season.
