Las Vegas, NV - The McKendree University Men's Bowling team is now home for the holidays, but they're freshly removed from having participated in an entertaining two-event week out at the South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas. While no individual statistics were made available at the time of publication, the Bearcats would finish in 3rd Place for the Glenn Carlson Invitational, before finishing 18th in the Collegiate Shootout.
In the Glenn Carlson Invitational, the Bearcats' run featured a pair of 3-0 wins, taking down St. Francis and Wisconsin-Whitewater, before falling to Wichita State (1-3).
When it came time for the Collegiate Shootout, McKendree was in 23rd place after the five games that were played on Saturday, but rebounded nicely with quality-enough bowling to push ahead five more spots and finish in 18th place.
The Bearcats are off for the calendar year, and will now start the 2026 portion of their schedule up in Addison, Illinois, as they will bowl in the Kegel ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic at the Stardust Bowl.
