Men's Bowling Places 4th at Lynne Jordan Memorial, 6th at Thomas Burris Memorial

tLOUISVILLE, Ky. - The McKendree men's bowling team traveled to Louisville, Ky. this weekend to compete in two tournaments, the Lynne Jordan Memorial Tournament on Saturday and the Thomas Burris Memorial Tournament on Sunday. Each day they bowled five traditional games and 12 baker games.

The Bearcats varsity team finished fourth overall knocking down 7,912 pins. The junior varsity team finished seventh overall knocking down 6,969 pins. McKendree had two bowlers finish in the top 25 for individuals. Sophomore Darren Zombro finished 21st overall averaging 212 pins and senior Connor Brink finished 24th averaging 210 pins.

Thomas Burris Memorial
The McKendree varsity team finished sixth knocking down 7,465 pins while the junior varsity finished fifth overall. The Bearcats had had three bowlers finish in the top 20. Senior Kolby Bennett finished 11th averaging 215 pins, senior Jeremy Kinealy finished 15th averaging 212 pins, and senior Connor Brink finished 19th overall averaging 208 pins.

The Bearcats return to action February 3-4 as they host the McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Heights, Ill. at St.Clair Bowl.
