FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - The McKendree men's bowling team hosted the McKendree Baker Challenge this past weekend. placing second overall.
The Bearcats varsity team qualified top two, knocking down 4,924 pins, placing right behind Wichita State University. On Sunday, the Bearcats took down Rock Valley with a score of 2-1, advancing to round two. The Bearcats faced Newman University next, but the Jets came out on top with a score of 1-2.
Mckendree had two junior varsity teams compete in the JV Bracket, placing third and fifth out of seven teams, knocking down 4,364 and 4,265 pins, respectively.Â
The Bearcats are back on the lanes this weekend, Feb. 15-16 as they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to compete in the Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic.
