Men's Bowling Takes 7th at McKendree Match Games

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - The McKendree University men's bowling team competed in the McKendree Match Games this past weekend at St. Clair Bowl placing seventh overall.

The Bearcats placed seventh out of 26 teams, knocking down 9,265 pins. McKendree finished 48 pins in front of eighth place Newman University and 25 pins behind sixth place Southern Nazarene University.

In individual standing, fifth-year Kristopher Walter finished top 25, knocking down 1,066 pins. Freshman Randy Ayala finished 33rd overall, knocking down 1,044 pins.

The Bearcats are back in action on Jan. 18-19 as they compete in the Kegel - ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill.
