Men's Bowling Takes 21st at Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The McKendree men's bowling team competed in the Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl this past weekend.

The Bearcats place 21st overall out of 80 teams knocking down 8,567 pins. On Saturday's opening day of the action, McKendree played six traditional games knocking down 5,950 pins and placing them in 22nd. On day two, the Bearcats played baker matches knocking down 2,617 pins.

Senior Kolby Bennett placed 6th individually, knocking down 1,344 pins and averaging 244 pins a game.

The Bearcats are back in action at the USBC Sectionals where they can punch their ticket to Nationals. Announcements on when and where sectionals will be hosted will be on February 21.
