SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - McKendree University women's tennis concluded its season in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament quarterfinals on Friday, May 3 as they fell to the No.2 West seed Southwest Baptist University 4-1.  

Fifth-year senior Viola Cipriani took the lone win for McKendree on the day, defeating Ghada Dirninger 6-4, 6-3 in the No.2 match.  

McKendree women's tennis ends its season 8-11 in its fourth straight appearance in the conference tournament.
