Bloomington, Ill- Mckendree University men's track and field at the Jason Dennis Invitational.

Freshman Helana Rhode placed fourth in the 60m final. Rhode also ran a personal best in the 200m with a time of 28.38.

A quintet of Bearcats placed second through sixth in the 400m. Sophomore Iyanna Dear led the way with a time of 1:01.92. Sophomores Sara Belloso and Divine Favour Ozomma came just behind in 1:03.28 and 1:04.20. Junior Azia Douglas and freshman Mickayla Sutherland rounded out the group with times of 1:06.12 and 1:07.10.

The 800m saw sophomore Lydia Trump run a time of 2:32.11 placing third. Sophomore Chloe Gough placed fourth with a time of 2:33.74.

The 60m hurdles saw freshman Kennise Major and Douglas placed first and second with times of 9.96 and 10.01 respectively.

The 4x400m relay unit of Ozomma, Taylor, Dear, and Belloso took second in 4:08.06. The "B" team of Douglas, Sutherland, Gough, and Trump took third with a time of 4:36.68.

Sophomore Paula Niubo placed first in the long jump and second in the high jump with leaps of 5.32m (17' 5.5") and 1.40m (4'7") correspondingly.  A career best in the long jump.

Adoyna Taylor also took second place in the triple jump with a mark of 10.98m and (36' 0.25")

Freshman Sofia Boscarolo rounded out the day for the Bearcats with a first place finish in the shotput throwing 12.51m (41' 0.5").

The Bearcats are back on the track and field next Fri. and Sat. Jan. 31 and Feb.1 for the Principia Invitational.
