McKendree Concludes Season at NCAA Midwest Regionals

KENOSHA, Wisc. – McKendree University men's cross-country team finished its season at the NCAA Midwest regional championships this Saturday at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.  

The team faced a very tough field of opponents at the meet. The team ended up scoring 875 points and finished 27th out of 29 teams.  

Individually for the Bearcats, Keveroy Venson led the team in 156th with a time of 34:26.4 in the 10k. Behind him was Blake Westrater with a time of 34:55.4 finishing in 170th.  

Coming in after him was Diego Paz-Denis and Reed Florey with times of 35:13.4 and 35:33.9 finishing in 174th and 181st respectively.  

Rounding out the day was Elijah Baer, Ostin Habeck and Adriano Brown in 196th, 199th and 200th with times of 38:14.9, 39:38.8 and 40:54.1, respectively. 

This meet concludes the 2025 cross country season, and the team now looks forward to the indoor track season.
