INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced the women's volleyball all-conference teams and awards this evening, Thursday, November 20th. Two McKendree players received recognitions.

Senior outside hitter Destiny Gray earned her second consecutive Second Team All-GLVC selection after leading the Bearcats' offense in kills this season, finishing with 277. Gray tallied nine double-doubles this season, hitting the double-digit mark in kills and digs in nine matches. Gray finished the season with a hitting efficiency of .174%. Gray also ended the season coming in second on the team in total digs with 303 and notched 39 total blocks throughout the season making her defensive presence known.

Freshman defensive specialist/libero Corinne Leech was awarded the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award. This award serves as an effort to support and promote good sportsmanship, awarded to student-athletes who exemplify and demonstrate fairness, graciousness, and respect toward teammates, opposing teams, coaches, and officials before, during, and after competition. Leech was an exemplary teammate in her freshman campaign, making an appearance in 41 sets and picking up 46 digs throughout the season.
