ELKHART, Ind. - No. 17 McKendree University women's swim and dive closed out the final night of the 2025 GLVC Championship with a third-place finish with 1180.5 points. 

Junior Natalia Kralova got the end of the night started with an eighth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:26.82. 

The 100-yard freestyle saw freshman Tumi Macdonell take fourth with a time of 50.61. 

In the 200-yard backstroke freshmen duo Luiza Dias and Bianka Bukovics placed fifth and seventh with marks of 2:02.05 and 2:02.85 respectively. 

Senior Sarah Gormley took home eighth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:21.68. 

Closing out the week with the 400-yard freestyle relay, the squadron Macdonell, senior Karley Sonnenberg, junior Joceyln Zgola, and senior Aurora Abbruscato swam a mark of 3:23.31.  

 This week saw vast successes as there were 155 personal bests, 117 "B" finalists, 48 "A" finalists, 7 GLVC records, and 8 school records throughout the five days of swimming and diving across both men's and women's teams. 

The Bearcats are back in the pool next Saturday, Feb. 22 at home for the Bearcat Last Chance meet.
