ELSAH, Ill – Mckendree University women's track and field team faced off against a large pool of competition at the 2025 Principia Relays.
Freshman sensation Shinelle Jhagroo-Bryan showed another display of excellence on both the track and the field throughout both days of the meet. Jhagroo took first place in the long jump with a leap of 5.62m (18' 5.25"), a new personal best. Jhagroo, along with sophomores Adonya Taylor, Divine Favour Ozomma, and freshman Helena Rhode, the quadrant of the Bearcats to a first-place victory in the 4x200m in 1:47.35, the second fastest time in school history.
The Bearcats are back in action on Sat. Feb. 15 at the Indiana State Blue and White Classic.
