TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - McKendree University women's track and field traveled to Indiana State University to compete at the Pacesetter Invitational where they placed tenth.
Freshman Helena Rohde led the way in the 100m with a personal best of 12.17m.
The 200m was the lone Bearcat in the event and saw Divine Favour Ozomma run a time of 26.12.
Freshman Mickayla Sutherland place fifth in the 400m, leaning threw the line in 57.72.
In the 100m hurdles, freshman Kennise Major ran a time of 16.31, a personal best.
The 4 x 100m relay unit of sophomores Amber Cotton, Iyanna Dear, Rhode, and Ozomma took eighth place with a time of 49.60.
The 4 x 400m relay unit of Taylor, Ozomma, Dear and Sutherland took third with a season best of 3:57.89.
Freshman Shinnelle Jhagroo placed seventh in the long jump with a leap of 5.47m.
The Bearcats are back on the track and field next weekend at the Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri University.
