O'FALLON, Ill. – McKendree University women's tennis team fell to Tiffin University 1-6 on Saturday and lost a close match to Southwest Baptist University 3-4 on Sunday.
McKendree 1, Tiffin University 6
Against Tiffin University, the Bearcats lost the doubles point, 6-2 and 6-3.
In singles play, senior
Sofija Djunisijevic posted the sole win of the day, taking down Avram in three sets.

McKendree 3, Southwest Baptist University 4
The Bearcats faced a tough Southwest Baptist University on Sunday, grabbing just three single wins on the day.
During doubles play, SBU took the point, winning 6-2 in both sets.
In singles play, junior
Lena Greefs defeated Ursane in two sets, 6-1, 6-2. Freshman
Ivana Milkova posts a win over Paunova 6-2, 6-2, while senior
Sofija Djunisijevic takes down Luiz 6-2, 6-0.
No. 1, and No. 5 matches both go to SBU, making it tied 3-3 with the No. 6 match still playing.
In the No. 6 spot, freshman
Keira Greefs battled Faria Zotti for three sets, coming up short in the third set.
