O'FALLON, Ill. – McKendree University women's tennis team battled against Walsh University, falling 3-4.

Walsh University takes the doubles point, with the Bearcats dropping the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches.

In singles play, junior Lena Greefs had a hard-fought battle in set one, winning the tie break, and dominates set two to take the match over Starke in the No. 1 singles match. Senior Sofija Djunisijevic posts a 6-4, 6-2 win over Kibler in the No. 4 singles match. Rounding out the singles wins is graduate student Joelle Tabernal winning the No. 5 singles match in two sets.
