MARYVILLE, Mo. – McKendree University women's tennis fell to Rockhurst and Northwest Missouri State University over the weekend.
On Saturday, April 5^th, against Rockhurst, the Bearcats fell 0-4. 

Against Northwest Missouri State University on Sunday April 6^th, the Bearcats fell 2-5. Northwest took the doubles point. In singles play, in the no. 1 match, junior Lena Greefs takes down ranked 71 Marielena Muench 6-1, 7-5. Rounding out the wins for the Bearcats was freshman Ivana Milkova winning her no. 3 singles match 7(7)-6(3), 7(7)-6(1) over Gontaryk.

Up next, the Bearcats will open up GLVC Conference play with a match against University of Indianapolis on Saturday April 12^th. The match will be played at Belleville East High School. Match time is 1:00 pm.
