MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- The McKendree Bass Fishing team traveled to Kinkaid Lake on Sunday, September 14
th for their final qualifier of the season. After eight hours on the water Saturday and another eight hours of 96° day on Sunday, they are ready for a short break before heading to Kentucky Lake this week for the upcoming Big Bass Bash.

Jack Stephens had a phenomenal day today and took the win. His best five went 21.26 pounds and his overall MLF style weight was 29.63 with eight. He also had big bass with a 6.08 pounds. Graduate Student
Evan Sutton came in second with 15.65 pounds. Graduate Student
Maxwell Trotter bagged 13.00 pounds for third. Graduate Student
Jaxson Freeman had 11.71 pounds for fourth, and senior
Connor Hall rounded out the top five with 10.17.
