LEBANON, Ill. – The women's tennis team travels west to Topeka, Kansas to take part in the Washburn Invite at Kossover Tennis Center. First serve is set for 9:00 AM CT on Friday, September 18th, with women's doubles taking the court first. Saturday's competition will also kick off at 9:00 AM CT.
McKendree will take on a plethora of teams in a bracket-style tournament beginning at 9:00 AM. The link to follow the tournament will be below. All matches will be played at the Kossover Tennis Center.

The Bearcats participated in the SIUE Hidden Duels on September 4th and 5th, faring against two NCAA Division I opponents, along with fellow GLVC member school, the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Notables in doubles play include a 3-0 sweep of University of Missouri-St. Louis, headlined by a 6-0 sweep by Natálie Syrová (Buková u Príbrame, Czech Republic) and Teona Andova (Skopje, North Macedonia). In Singles, the Bearcats as a team took down Division I opponent University of Southern Indiana 4-1, headlined by Katie Woods (Edwardsville, Ill.) with a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
The following opponents will be taking part in the Washburn Invite along with the Bearcats:

- University of Nebraska at Kearney
- Rockhurst University
- Pratt Community College
- Cowley Community College
Following the Bearcats' participation in the Washburn Invitational, they will enjoy a few weeks off before hosting the Bearcat Hidden Duels from October 4th to 6th. First serve is slated for 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 9:00 AM, respectively.
