EVANSVILLE, Ind. – McKendree Women's Swim and Dive pulled out the podium finish in the first event of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championships at the Deaconess Aquatic Center Tuesday night.  

The Bearcats started off hot in the GLVC Championships with the first event being the 800-yard freestyle relay. The group of Jocelyn Zgola, Luiza Dias, Helena Kurtz and Tumi Macdonell captured a third-place finish with a time of 7:27.24.  

Next, the team will be competing in the 200-yard Individual Medley, 50-yard freestyle, and 1000-yard freestyle on the second day of the GLVC Championships.
