Indianapolis, IN - The McKendree University Women's Tennis team saw its season come to a close on the road, falling 7-0 to UIndy in the final match of the year. With the loss, the Bearcats finish just outside the cutoff for the GLVC Tournament, bringing the 2026 campaign to an end against one of the conference's top teams.

UIndy took control early by sweeping the doubles point. Lena Greefs and Keira Greefs fell at No. 1, while Kristina Bogomazova and Ivana Milkova dropped the No. 2 match. Emmy Zsigmond and Diana Calzada were also defeated at No. 3 as the Greyhounds built a 1-0 lead heading into singles.

In singles, McKendree faced a deep and balanced UIndy lineup that secured all six courts in straight sets or controlled finishes. Lena Greefs battled at No. 1, while Keira Greefs pushed for momentum in her match, but UIndy maintained control throughout the lineup. The Greyhounds also picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3, along with decisive victories at No. 5 and No. 6 to complete the sweep.

Despite the result, the match marked the conclusion of the Bearcats' season, as McKendree narrowly missed qualification for the GLVC Tournament.
