(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 1)- The No. 7 McKendree University women's soccer team had its American Midwest Conference regular season winning streak snapped at 47 games on Friday night by Missouri Baptist University, 3-2, at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.
The Bearcats, 10-1-1 overall (5-1 AMC), will host Hannibal-LaGrange College at 6 p.m. on October 5th at Leemon Field for an American Midwest Conference contest.
McKendree wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in the game and had a 1-0 lead after 15 seconds on a goal by junior forward

Ashley Varns (Chatham, Ill., Glenwood) closed the gap to 3-2 with five minutes remaining, but the Bearcats failed to score and lost their first game of the season.
