The win gives Yanko an overall record of 58-8-7 in her career at McKendree and surpasses the previous record set by Natalie Jameson from 2003-06.
The No. 14 Bearcats trailed 1-0 after a goal by Fernanda Miacci found the back of the net in the 12th minute. McKendree tied the game in the 37th minute on a goal by senior midfielder
Ashley Varns (Chatham, Ill., Glenwood) off a free kick by junior midfielder

Sulyn Keomanivane (Granite City, Ill., Granite City) scored off a pass from junior forward

McKendree improved to 11-1-1 (6-1 AMC) and will host William Woods University on October 16th for an American Midwest Conference contest at 5 p.m.
