Casara Marsaglia (Thayer, Ill., Virden) both finished in the top 20 to help lead he McKendree University women's golf team to a fourth place finish at the William Woods University Owls Spring Invitational at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
The Bearcats will return to the links April 8-9 at Oak Terrace Golf Course in Pana, Ill., for the University of Missouri-St. Louis Spring Invitational.
Harris finished just outside the top 10 with a 12th place finish after shooting a two-day total of 172 (86/86). Marsaglia finished in a tie for 15th place with a two-day score of 179 (90/89). Other finishers for the Bearcats were freshman
Chelsea Nagel (Steeleville, Ill., Steeleville) in 24th place with a 193 (101/92), freshman
Katelyn Dauphin (Belleville, Ill., Belleville East) in a 25th place tie with a 195 (91/104), and sophomore
Kayla McClain (Belleville, Ill., Belleville East) in 31st with a 223 (121/102).
