Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 24)- The McKendree University women's soccer team put Bellarmine University to the test on Wednesday, but gave up a goal in the final minute to drop its final Great Lakes Valley Conference match of the season 1-0.

The Bearcats fall to 8-6-2 overall and 7-6-2 in the GLVC with the loss, and will host Benedictine University-Springfield on Saturday, October 27 at 10:30 a.m.

McKendree edged Bellarmine in shot attempts in the match, 12-9, but the Knights placed five of its shots on goal, compared to the Bearcat's four in the contest. The game appeared to be heading to overtime, but a counter-attack by Bellarmine found a hole and Allyson Palmer scored the lone goal of the contest with 46 seconds left to give the Knights the win.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) grabbed four saves in the loss and fell to 8-6-2 overall on the season.
