The McKendree University women's soccer team will close out its first season as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tonight at Leemon Field.

The Bearcats are hosting Bellarmine University at 5:30 p.m., tonight in their final GLVC regular season contest of the season. The Knights are 12-2-2 overall and 10-2-2 in the GLVC this season.

On Saturday, McKendree will host Benedictine University-Springfield for a non-conference contest at 10:30 a.m.

SENIOR NIGHT 2012: Prior to Wednesday's match, we will honor two seniors for their contributions to the program during their career. We would like to congratulate Carlee Luehmann (Granite City, Ill./Granite City) and Danni Warren (Stockport, Cheshire, England/Wilmslow) for all their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck in the future.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS: Bellarmine University enters tonights game with and overall record fo 12-2-2 and a 10-2-2 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Knights are currently riding a eight-game unbeaten streak, having posted a 6-0-2 record since dropping a 2-1 decision in overtime at University of Wisconsin-Parkside on September 28. McKendree defeated Bellarmine, 2-1, in their only previous meeting on August 28, 2005.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Benedictine University-Springfield enters the week with an overall record of 1-12-1 and a 1-5 record in the American Midwest Conference. The Bulldogsdefeated Stephens College, 9-0, in its last match on October 22 for their lone win of the season. McKendree defeated Benedictine University-Springfield, 9-0, last season it their only previous meeting.

MILESTONE WATCH: Junior forward Amy Cassiday (Rochester, Ill./Rochester) is currently in eighth place with 72 career points, a tie for fifth with nine career gamewinning goals, and in sole possession of sixth place with 32 career goals. Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) recently moved into the top ten with 67 career saves. She is also ranked ninth with eight career wins and five career shutouts.
