Amy Cassiday (Rochester, Ill./Rochester) scored two goals and also had an assist on Sunday afternoon to help pace the McKendree University women's soccer team to a 5-0 conference win over Saint Joseph's College (Ind.).
The Bearcats improved to 5-1-1 overall and 4-1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference after the victory, and will return to the pitch on Friday, Sep. 28 in Romeoville, Ill., to face Lewis University in a GLVC contest at 7:30 p.m.

Alyssa Patterson (Troy, Ill./Triad) scored unassisted in the 28th minute to give the Bearcats a 3-0 lead heaidng into the half.
Cassiday scored her second goal of the day, and fourth of the season, in the 51st minute with an assist by Kennedy to put McKendree in front 4-0, and Cassiday recorded an assist just over a minute later on a goal by Luehmann that sealed the win 5-0.

Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) played 64:18 in goal and had three saves, while improving to 5-1-1 overall. Freshman goalkeeper
Tayler Pulvirenti (Maryville, Ill./Collinsville) played 25:42 in goal and one save in her first collegiate appearance. The duo combined to record the team shutout.
