The McKendree University women's soccer team will begin a series of four-straight Great Lakes Valley Conference games on the road on Friday.

The Bearcats travel to Rensselaer, Ind., on Friday, Oct. 11 to face Saint Joseph's College at 5 p.m. The Pumas are are currently 1-7-1 overall and 1-6-1 in the GLVC.

On Sunday, McKendree will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to face the University of Indianapolis at 12 p.m. EST. The Greyhounds are currently 4-5-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the GLVC.

SCOUTING THE PUMAS: Saint Joseph's enters the weekend with an overall record of 1-7-1 and a 1-6-1 mark in the GLVC. The Pumas split its their two games last weekend, edging Illinois-Springfield, 3-2, on Friday, before falling to University of Southern Indiana, 3-0, on Sunday. Freshman forward/midfielder Stephanie Cradduck and senior forward Sarah Johnson have both scored two goals and each have two assists to lead Saint Joseph's this season. McKendree leads the all-time series against the Pumas, 2-0, and defeated Saint Joseph's, 5-0, on Sep. 23 last season.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS: Indianapolis enters the weekend with an overall record of 4-5-2 and a 3-3-2 mark in the GLVC. The Greyhounds are 2-1 in their last three games, earning a 1-0 win over Southern Indiana in overtime on Friday, before earning a 2-1 win over Illinois-Springfield on Sunday. Indianapolis dropped a 2-0 decision to No. 1 Grand Valley State at home on Wednesday. Junior midfielder Stacey Klene and sophomore midfielder/forward Taylor Cotherman each have three goals and an assist this season. McKendree won the only previous meeting between the two programs last season, 1-0, in double overtime. That win last season was head coach Tim Strange's 20oth career victory at McKendree.

MILESTONE WATCH: Senior Amy Cassiday (Rochester, Ill./Rochester) currently ranks in the top 10 at McKendree in multiple career categories. She's ranked fifth with 10 game-winning goals, is in sixth with 34 goals, and is tied for sixth with 78 points. Senior Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) is currently fourth all-time at McKendree with a 1.06 goals-against average, sixth with 12 wins and is ninth with 98 saves. Sophomore Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) is ranked fifth all-time at McKendree with 13 career wins and is ranked 10th with 87 saves.
