The McKendree University women's soccer team will play two of its final three regular season games this weekend at home.
The Bearcats host University of Missouri-St. Louis on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a matchup against Maryville University on Sunday at Noon.
SENIOR DAY ON WEDNESDAY: The Bearcats will honor its senior team members in a ceremony prior to its regular season finale against University of Illinois-Springfield on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
SCOUTING THE TRITONS: Missouri-St. Louis enters the weekend with and overall record of 4-9-1 and a 2-9-1 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons have lost five-straight games, including a 1-0 loss to Illinois-Springfield and a 3-2 loss to Southern Indiana, respectively, last weekend. Sophomore forward Hunter Wagoner leads UMSL with three goals and two assists this season. McKendree is 2-1 all-time against the Tritons.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS: Maryville enters the weekend with an overall record of 2-11-1 and a 2-9-1 mark in the GLVC. The Saints have won two-straight, earning a 4-1 win on Friday at University of Southern Indiana, before picking up a 3-1 win over University of Illinois-Springfield on Sunday. Sophomore forward Shannon Foley leads the Saints with five goals and two assists this season. McKendree is 4-0-1 all-time against the Saints.
MILESTONE WATCH: Senior Amy Cassiday (Rochester, Ill./Rochester) currently ranks in the top 10 at McKendree in multiple career categories. She's ranked fifth with 10 game-winning goals, is in fifth with 35 goals, and is tied for sixth with 80 points. Senior Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) is currently fifth all-time at McKendree with a 1.21 goals-against average, sixth with 12 wins and is ninth with 104 saves. Sophomore Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) is ranked fifth all-time at McKendree with 13 career wins, sixth with a 1.24 goals-against average, and is ranked 10th with 94 saves.
