Women's Tennis Opens Season With Shutout Wins Over Rend Lake and Kentucky Wesleyan

(O'FALLON, Ill., Sep. 21)- The McKendree University women's tennis team opened their season with two victories on Saturday. The Bearcats defeated Rend Lake College, 9-0, at 11 a.m., before earning a 9-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan College at 3 p.m.

The Bearcats improved to 2-0 and will host Lindenwood University-Belleville on Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. The win over Rend Lake was Adam Reeb's first as head coach of the women's program at McKendree.
