Box Score (EVANSVILLE, Ind., Oct. 24)- A goal by senior forward Natalie Crane (Granite City, Ill./Granite City) in the second half on Friday led the McKendree University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over University of Southern Indiana.

The Bearcats improved to 7-9 overall and 6-7 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will host Bellarmine University on Sunday, Oct. 26 at noon. McKendree will honor its seniors in a ceremony prior to the game as part of senior day festivities.

After a scoreless first half that had the Bearcats placing four of its eight shots on frame, Crane gave McKendree a 1-0 lead in the 61st minute with her fourth goal the season off an assist by junior midfielder Jordyn Reiniger (Collinsville, Ill./Collinsville). The Bearcats outshot the Eagles 19-6 in the contest and had eight shots on goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Anna Sassman (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County) improved to 2-5 overall and grabbed four saves in her second shutout of the season.
