(FLORENCE, Ala., May 23)- The McKendree University bass fishing team had teams finish in 92nd, 100th, and 104th place at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship on Friday.
The Bearcats will finish their inaugural season on Saturday, May 31 at an FLW Central Conference Qualifier held on the Mississippi River in Fort Madison, Iowa.
The duo of juniors
Phillip Germagliotti (Highland, Ill./Highland) and
Dustin Pendegraft (Summerfield, Ill./Lebanon) were McKedree's top finishers in 92nd place with a two-day total of 20.07 pounds. They weighed in a five-fish limit of 11.16 pounds on the final day.
Senior
Adam Brookman (Opdyke, Ill./Mount Vernon) and freshman
Reece Ellerbusch (Belknap, Ill./Massac County) finished in 100th place with a five fish limit of 8.65 pounds on day two to finish with a two-day total of 19.06 pounds.
Freshman
Austin Chapman (Blue Mound, Ill./Meridian) and
Brian McClanahan (Elkville, Ill./Elverado) finished in 104th place with a two-day total of 18.47 pounds after turning in a second day five-fish limit of 8.65 pounds.
University of Georgia took home the team title in the field of 158 boats with a two-day total of 49.84 pounds.
