(Lebanon, Ill., October 27) – The McKendree University women's soccer team is set to host the quarterfinal round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament this Sunday at Noon when the University of Indianapolis travels to Leemon Field.

McKendree's offense is powered by
Sydnee Carroll (Millstadt, IL/Belleville West),
Alynnah O'Leary (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville ),
Madyson Mossman (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline Academy), and
Grace Neidhardt (Granite City, IL/Granite City ). Carroll paces the way with 21 points on eight goals and five assists. O'Leary adds 12 points on six goals leading the team with three game-winners. Mossman provides nine points on three goals and three assists, while Neidhardt adds eight on three goals and two assists.
Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) posts a .912 save percentage in cage on 62 saves adding nine shutouts to her resume.
The Greyhounds
Indianapolis' offense is fueled by Michele Govern and Ashleigh Lewis who lead the team in points. Govern adds11 points on five goals, while Lewis contributes three goals and two assists. Caitlynn MacKenzie posts a .874 save percentage in net gathering 76 saves and seven shutouts.
Previous Meeting
Earlier this season on September 17, the Greyhounds and Bearcats met in Indianapolis resulting in the Bearcats walking away with a 2-1 overtime victory. Indianapolis had McKendree on the ropes leading 1-0, on a Sierra Singer goal, through the 86 minute of play until
Grace Neidhardt (Granite City, IL/Granite City ) netted her first goal of the 2017 season on a
Liz Kaiser (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline) assist.
Sydnee Carroll (Millstadt, IL/Belleville West) would score on a penalty kick in the second overtime to give McKendree the 2-1 win.

Winners form the quarterfinal round will advance to the GLVC Tournament semifinals that will be played at Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis on November 3. The GLVC Tournament Championship will be played Sunday, November 5.
