(Lebanon, Ill., September 14) – The McKendree University women's soccer team hits the road this weekend for a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) contests as the Bearcats visit nationally ranked Bellarmine University and University of Indianapolis.

The Bearcats enter the weekend with an overall record of 3-0 while posting a 1-0 mark in the GLVC. In the latest United Soccer Coaches Regional Poll McKendree is currently ranked fourth behind Bellarmine, Grand Valley State, and Quincy respectively.

The Bearcats
The McKendree squad takes the pitch led by reigning GLVC Offensive Player of the Year, Sydnee Carroll (Millstadt, IL/Belleville West) who currently leads the league in points with 10. Freshman Alynnah O'Leary (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville ) adds to the offensive production averaging 2.0 points per game while goalkeeper Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) is among conference leaders only allowing one goal in 240:23 minutes of play.

Scouting the Knights
Offensively the Bellarmine offense is fueled by freshman Samantha Ferry who leads the team with three goals. Audrey Van Der Elst adds to the offensive numbers producing a goal and an assist. Taylor Smith has seen all 308:07 minutes in net posting one shutout while only surrendering two goals.

Scouting the Greyhounds
Entering the weekend the Greyhounds' offensive unit is led by Stephanie Burdsall who holds the team lead in points with six. Michele Govern has added key goals for Indianapolis posting two game-winners.
