(LEBANON, Ill., Sep. 13) – The McKendree University women's soccer team will open Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Friday, September 14 at 5:00 p.m. on the road at William Jewell College.
 
The Bearcats enter the contest 2-0 on the season after most recently defeating The University of Alabama in Huntsville 2-0 on Friday, September 7. Jane Skaggs (St. Charles, MO/Duchesne), Amanda Williams (Rochester, IL/Rochester), and Alynnah O'Leary (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville) lead the McKendree offense with two points apiece, while goalkeeper Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) has made seven saves this season to accompany her two shut outs.
 
William Jewell currently sits at 3-1-1 on the season after defeating Southwest Baptist 2-0 on September 11.
