Box Score (JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., Nov. 15) – The McKendree women's soccer team topped the Knights of Bellarmine University 1-0 this Friday afternoon, and now advance to the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament Championship where they will face The University of Southern Indiana this upcoming Sunday, November 17.
 
McKendree's Kate Bixby (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt North High School) delivered the game-winner in just the second minute of regulation after her shot deflected off a Knight defender and squeezed just within the inner post, ultimately sending the Bearcats to their third Tournament Championship appearance in four years. Though McKendree notched the lone goal in the very first minutes of the match, play between the two squads was relatively even as Bellarmine outshot the Bearcats 11 to eight, though McKendree had more shots on goal with two in comparison to Bellarmine's one. Senior goalkeeper and 2019 GLVC Defensive Player of the Year Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering High School) made one save in her 12^th shutout of the 2019 season.
