(LOUISVILLE, Ken., Sep. 19) – The McKendree University women's soccer team looks to continue their winning ways as they take on the Knights of Bellarmine University on the road this Friday, September 20, followed by a home match against the Greyhounds of the University of Indianapolis this Sunday, September 22.
The Bearcats, now 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play most recently defeated the Screaming Eagles of Southern Indiana 3-1 this past Sunday, September 15 where head coach
Tim Strange recorded his 500
th career win.
Bellarmine University looks to challenge McKendree this Friday after dropping a 2-1 overtime loss to the University of Indianapolis this past weekend, now with a 3-1 overall and 0-1 GLVC record. Friday's match is set to begin at 3:45 p.m. ET.
Sitting atop the GLVC standings, the Greyhounds head into Sunday's matchup at 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the GLVC after their overtime victory over the Knights. Sunday's game against the Bearcats is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Leemon Field.
