ELKHART, Ind. - No. 6 McKendree University men's swim and dive sits in second place in the GLVC championship after two days of competition.
Starting off the day in the 1000-yard freestyle saw three podium finishers. Sophomore sensation Christan Davidson placed second with a time of 9:05.35 a new personal best. Junior Michael Stooke also saw a personal best in 9:20.30 taking fifth place. Senior Jackson Lustig took eighth place in 9:22.73
The 200-yard IM saw a personal best from junior Caden Brooks taking seventh place in 1:47.85 and freshman Nojus Bertulis taking eighth in 1:51.84
The 50-yard Freestyle saw junior Tyson Upton take eighth place in 20.52.
The quadrant of senior Patryk Rozenek, Bertulis, Lustig, and Upton took second place in the 200-yard Medley Relay with a mark of 1:25.62
The Bearcats are currently in second place after day two of competition with 416 points. Tomorrow's action will see the 3-meter dive, 100-yard fly, 400-yard IM, 200-yard freestyle, and 400-medley relay.
