WHEATON, Ill. – Fighting cold and windy conditions, the McKendree women's golf team competed in the Lewis University Flyers Spring Invitational. In the field of 12 teams, the Bearcats used the third lowest final round score to move into the third-place finish with a total of 655 (330-325). Davenport University won the 36-hole event with a 639 (322-317).

Freshman Alba Camps Pascual led the Bearcats with a 7^th place finish by shooting a 162 (80-82). Junior Sarah Capel and sophomore Chiara Bortolotti tied for 10^th with a 164 (84-80). Wartisara Rungrojanaluk shot a 21-over 165 (82-83) to finish in a tie for 15^th. Sophomore Reagan Martin rounded out the Bearcat lineup with a 175 (89-86) to finish in a tie for 39^th.

McKendree has one more regular season tournament at the University of Missouri – St. Louis Spring Invitation on April 13^th and 14^th at Norwood Hills Country Club.
